Happy Father's Day to Me!

Ill Digger

Moderator
Mama said Its fathers day, go out detecting. ::huh:: Sweet! |)
I was able to find a couple wheats and a bunch of clad. But during the hunt I got a jumpy dime type signal. I dug down to find a big gray disk :shocked04:
It turned out to be a 1935 Walker! :happydance01:

In the same hole with it was a 1907o Barber half! :happydance01: .... with them was 4 giant nails! :eyebrow:

Thanks for lookin' & HH!

Holy cow! Wow oh wow! Man what a dig! HUGE congrats! I hope you will post some pics of those beauties cleaned up.

Thanks Z!
They're tarnished pretty bad but here's some pics of them washed off.

Here's the obverse sides...

...and the reverses.

:omg:

:congrats: on an awesome find and bonus points for doing it through the nails |:cheering:

:envious: for sure

WoW :wow: a double half dollar day is pretty rare Tim , you must have been a very good Father this past year Mister ;) |:cheering: |:cheering:

Captain Coinspill strikes again! :pirate: lol

That's awesome, Tim! It's amazing how the E-Trac can still find the silver coins amongst the nails. That 1935 Walker doesn't have much wear on it, so I bet both coins were dropped about then. That 1907-O Barber Half has seen lots of circulation, if only it could talk!

Huge congrats on an incredible Father's Day find! |)

Some guys have all the luck! I would've found the nails! :omg: :congrats: on some great finds!

GL(as if you need it)/HH

Nice |) 2 halves in one hole is an instant heart attack :shocked04: I would have stared at them not believing they are real lol

WOW!!! Tim, that is awesome!! It certainly pays to dig those iffy signals, what a find, congrats to you!
