hello, my name is byron and i live in south wales .UK...i retired eight years ago and took up metal detecting..i use a minelab explorer and belong to a club based in the rhondda valley called R.A.R.E (rhondda artefact research enthusiasts) which has been in existence for over 25 years.....i look forward to contributing to the forum and hopefully posting some pics of finds.....cheers everyone........byron
 
Hello Byron and welcome to the forum , you chaps on the other side of the pond have some great hunting ground just loaded in rich history to discover . i envy you Brits alot and will be looking toward your posts with great finds i'm sure . glad you joined us here.

welcome to our little slice of heaven. this is a great forum .you all have thousands of years of history and most people here wont admit it but we are jealous. south wales ... where men are men and sheep are nervous.........god save the queen :peace:
