Hello from SW Florida

Hey There,

Just wanted to say hello. Until today I have never tried metal detecting. I decided to start out small to see if I enjoy it first.

I bought a Garret 250 and strolled up on Naples beach and in 1 hour found;

1- Beer can
2- Quarters
2- Dimes
2- Pennies
1- Paperclip
1- Piece of wire
1- Bottle cap

I had some fun and sun, so a pretty good day. I'll give it a little time and then who knows..... Maybe a Minelab for me :happydance01:

Just like you, I started with the 250. It is a great machine and I found lots of nice old keepers.
After the hobby/addiction grabbed hold... I ventured into the Minelab series and have been very happy too.
