Every weekend, the Mrs and I take the wave runner out and go to several islands and beaches. Went back to the same beach where I found my nice silver ring with amethyst stones and dug up this little earring. This beach wouldn't be classified as a happening spring break hang out, but it sure produces some goodies. I just purchase the Sea Hunter Mark II detector, and can't wait to give it a go. The AT Pro has come through for me these past 8 months on the beaches, but since I have been turning the sensitivity down so much, I'm afraid I've been missing a few more treasures. Thanks giant. You know, I turn a few heads when I jump off the wave runner with my detector in hand. Lol. It is an interesting way to get to your hunting grounds. Good hunting to ya.

Your right Skamaniac. I have three days off a week. On Sat, I scope out all the popular boat hang outs to include shallow sand bars and busy section of beaches, then detect it on a Thursday when no one is there. Seems to be working for me. Good hunting guys.
