Hot Spot

Monday afternoon we shook off the effects of the "big snow storm" that petered out and I headed down to a swimming area near me. It's on odd site in that the pond was made by a dam built after WW1 on an 1800s poor farm, which was built on a 1600s farm. So I've pulled everything from 1600s William3s to modern silver. Found a small 1960s hot spot near the water which you can tell has no drainage...even the silver looked bad. There was some snow which only helped me cover the area, and it didn't even stick to the coil. The coins are (were) wheats. Thanks for looking! HH

Three silver coins and a silver ring is a nice hot spot indeed! What a fascinating site that must be with such a wide range of finds from the 1600s to present.

Good job, Drew! :clapping:

That is a successful hunt right there Drew. :thumbsup01:

Most of your recoveries leave me drooling. :shocked04:
