Alec and I hunted a house today that was built in 1847. It's on the same block as the house we hit yesterday that gave up Indians and Silver so we were hoping for some OLD coins again today. The oldest coin we found was a 1906 Indian and then 7 Wheats ( the oldest, a 1911. The rest were 1930s and up ). also found a 1964 Canadian Penny. The only silver today was a 1961 Washington Quarter. As always, a bunch of clad including a Sacajawea Dollar, Susan B Anthony Dollar & a Kennedy Half.
A few of the Relics were 2 tokens ( 1 may be old but the other was from Branson, Mo. ), an old pad lock & the center of a 70s Buick hub cap.
An interesting collection of finds from a house 167 years old.
All in All, another Great day out with my son !!!!

Nice variety of finds, Don! It is very unusual to find a Kennedy Half, Susan B. Anthony dollar and a Sacagawea dollar all in the same yard.

I really love that old token! Very ornate and it still has some gilt on it. Terrific find! :thumbsup02:

:congrats: [h=3][/h]

Thanks everyone .It was an unusual day, I was waiting for the Eisenhower Dollar next. :lolsign:
Don't tell anybody, but Alec found the Indian & Washington.

Nice finds Don, nice array of clad and the token is really cool and silver...ahh silver always is the frosting on the cake!

I wonder if the token can be dated. It is a higher $ value of all the tokens that get posted. I believe 3 weeks ago (last time I was out with the exception of this past Friday night after work) I found a 1964 canadian in an park roughly the same age as the property you were hunting....1500 miles east tho. Nice finds.

Another productive hunt. Seeing all that big clad in one yard is amazing. Cool token and I love to find old locks, :congrats:on yours

Could you imagine if you had found that Eisenhower Dollar?! :shocked04:
I think you would've had the first ever dollar tri-fecta!
Very nice variety of finds guys!
Congrats!
