Wow! I had a few minutes to hunt a small park in Milford today. There's a massive boulder there where the patriots used it as a lookout for the British back in the Revolutionary War. I really didn't think I'd find anything old because I know that the park was renovated. So, I headed straight to the back in the very farthest corner and WHAM. I get a solid 42 on the X-Terra 505. Dug about three inches down and out pops this beauty. :shocked03: A 1948-D silver Washington. I just found my first silver coin yesterday and now this. What a great hobby. It sure makes up for all the millions of pull tabs and bottle caps and makes it all worth while. happydance02 Happy Hunting all!

Awesome... silver #2! <:

Like I mentioned before, get the first one out of the way and it's an easy ride from there.
Congrats.

We expect a silver half from you tomorrow! lol

Seriously, congrats on the silver quarter! That's awesome! :clapping:

And a silver dollar the next day. Great that you've been digging the silver, now live up to the expectations.

Congrats on a beautiful silver quarter :happydance01: They are tough to come by.

Yes, it's amazing how we forget about the thousands of clad and pulltabs after seeing that glint of silver, isn't it? :cheering:
