In Honor of Les in Nova Scotia...

...I've reached my silver quota!! From the land of the burnt nose.... ND would be proud! I happen to reside in a rare US county where French is the second choice on ATMs and kids calls their grandparents meme and pepe. These French Canadians were among the greatest of sheet rockers but apparently suspect at sewing pockets.

The soupe du jour-
1874 Silver Victoria 10 cents (made in England)
1964 Elizabeth 2 small cent
Sweet 2 piece button
Silver cufflink (with heart shaped back part)
1941 dog tag
Five wheats
1888 IH
No date buff
Musket ball
Couple of other two-piece buttons

The Victoria dime is in great shape Drew! Congrats on that and the lovely buttons. If the polygonal item is a dog tag, could you get a year?

John

Great pocket full of keeper Drew! :thumbsup01:
I dig the older style Canadian silvers! (Still looking for my first)
The old buttons are cool too!
Nice hunt Drew!
Congrats!

Thanks Jim,John,Brian,Tim, and Tony! John the year on that tag is 1941, I actually love finding those things. I'm trying to get all the towns in my county.

That dime is crazy, Drew. Love the gilt on that button and the cufflink too. You don't show the heart design that you had mentioned in the write up. Lol. Forcing you to more effort with a pic?

All the towns in my county??

Thanks Jim, yeah I'm trying to collect a dog tag from each town in my county. Here's the back of the cuff

I wonder if those are reversible cufflinks even if the heart isn't as large as the other side.
As far as dog tags, I was wondering how you could tell which town each was from. Some do say, but others I thought give very little info on the tag. And shape was not being a determining factor either.

Very honoured me son and those are some nice finds. Everyone here loves to have dates with Vickie.

USA barbers and mercs I consider one of th best designs on coins and cheerish those few in my dug collection.

Happy hunting!

Drew , I think a DNA test is in order here as there appears to be some startling similarities between you
and that world famous Freedom 3 swinger Leslie ( Nova Scotia ) .I know of a guy named Maury who would probably handle this .Great finds as usual Drew .:thumbsup02:
