Interesting cellar hole item from last week

Working the overnight shifts this week, so won't be out for a hunt until Tue/Wed of next week. Sleep, eat and work...that's about it for me during this period of my shift rotations. Anyhow, here's an interesting item I found at a cellar hole last week...huge site with an interesting construction. Wish I had a pic of the site but more or less half of the old barn was built into the side of a hill with the west face a 50' long by 20' high wall of stone. Long hike, but large and very cool site. I'll be back this fall after all the vegetation dies off. Not sure if the horse shown here was anything more than a decoration in the home, but really heavy/solid and rang up as brass. Keeper nonetheless. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Dan. I'll get a shot of it next time I'm up there and share it with the group. Amazing how much work must have went into constructing some of these old places and hacking out a living there. This site is 2600 feet in elevation. Snow must be 4 feet deep regularly in the winter there.
