Well today was my first ever door knocking yes lol it was an 1880s house site the gentleman was sitting on his front porch and I went over and I asked he told me that his son and grandsons had already detected around his house several times but he said I could give it a shot so I went for it he was 80 years old and very friendly he asked me if I could help him and I said sure all he wanted me to do was move a sidewalk stone back into place because it was too heavy for him to move so I did and I was rewarded with 3 Indian heads from 1886,1899, and 1901:happydance01: I also dug 7 Wheaties oldest one was 1912 it was a Very good day I love Indian heads thanks for looking and HH

Fantastic Hunt. I'm with you, Indians are great looking coins.
Also, congrats on your first door knock. It paid off great for you..

WTG on getting the permission and being rewarded after you helped move that stone. Nice tribe of IH's and a pile of wheats......:thumbsup02:

The effort of knocking on doors has a definite benefit. Private properties usualy have not been hunted before but in your case Nesdore, the area had been hunted previously and you still came away with some terrific finds.

Looks like the son and grandson got all the silver but they missed some really nice Indian Heads! :thumbsup02:

:congrats:

Thanks Tony I don't know how well they even went over the yard if I found all these good targets there certainly some silver left somewhere im gonna wait until we get some good rain the ground is so dry here we shall see :crossfingers:
