Jefferson Nickels - Which do you consider keepers?

I was just curious about this since I have been finding a lot more nickels lately. There aren't really any dug Jefferson Nickels that are worth a whole lot to collectors, but which ones go in your keeper pile?

I am thrilled to find the early Jeffersons because surely there's some silver here too but figure the discoloration makes them unworthy, even 100 yrs from now. The war nickels are the only ones I save...

I didn't know the 50-D was semi-key. I only keep war nickels.

Being new to detecting, I keep the oldest (3-1965). <: Until I get something older to replace it. If I could find silver, I wouldn`t even bend over for a nickel. rofl

I have been saving any nickle before 1959 for years now. Either I dig them or get them in my change. I currently have over $26 face of them
