Wow, never seen anything like it. Very awesome looking find, suspect possible museum piece! Try contacting your local museum or local experts. Thinking maybe the Smithonian could have interest due to its possible historic relevance.
My hunting partner found one that sold over at heritage auctions and they have only ever handled 2.. They said there are less than 10 known examples known to exist.
No you didn't read the post correctly or I didn't word it correctly. He found one over there that sold a few years ago.... not his he doesn't have one its one someone else sold. We do not sell relics....

What an amazing find!! Congratulations on getting another awesome piece of American history! I think it's interesting that he went with IO as the abbreviation for John. "I" being the Latin letter that predates the invention of the letter J in the English language. Very interesting indeed! Thanks for sharing and HH Dave.
