Large Cent and a Barber Quarter today

Me and my new detecting buddy returned to the large site from the 1850s that we have hunted a few times. This site has been open to detectorists for decades and finds are very sparse, nevertheless I managed to find a Large Cent and a barber Quarter today.

The Large Cent is really beat, it has a large hole in the middle of it and I can't make out the type or date.

I found the 1904 Barber Quarter as I was about to quit for the day about 50 feet from the truck.

It was a short 1 1/2 hour hunt but the weather was perfect.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting! :beerbuddy:

Great job, especially for an hour and a half hunt.
Very nice Barber quarter and holed LC.
Oh yeah, nice Mag light too!!
:congrats:

Nice find, Tony. Looks more like a washer than a coin. Lol. Crazy when you say slim pickin's and a barber quarter can come up. I say slim pickin's when only a button comes up.

I don't remember seeing this post!! I'm glad you have a new pal and congrats on some nice finds! So near the truck :thumbsup02:
