Hello all!
I got out 3 times last week... All to different location...
Mar 10, 2011...
This was a short hunt after work at a park that used to be an old farm... Same place I recovered the 1900 Barber Quarter at my 1st hunt of the year...
1946 Roosevelt Silver Dime... (Silver #2 2011)
Mar 12, 2011
This was Saturday and I had the fortune of meeting someone recently that granted me permission onto private land with an 1786 site (cellar and 100 ft barn) foundations on it...
I could not get much into the barn or around it for wet/mud... That will need a little Mr. Sunshine... The foundation had 60%+ nulling around from the expected iron... I was feeling my way around and trying to do a little cherry picking... but the picking were slim... I did get my 1st Indian of the year along the road... Its toast... but I swear I can see an 1884...
Mar 13, 2011 - Sunday I had to drive my son back to Boston and stopped just outside of town at a green... and had a blast!
This token is the size of a half dollar and looks 50ish *shrug* - It was screaming 12/48 all the way about 5 down...
Here is an 1864 L Indian Head in great shape!
Next up was this 1893 Indian Head.... (IH #3 for 2011)
This Dime was loud and clea 12/45 @ 6 and I was 99% sure it was silver... I was only cleaned with water and I swear it still has some luster!
1899 Silver Barber Dime (Silver #3 for 2011)
These Cuffs look military - Anyone.... HELP!
Button:
This look WWI  Any thoughts... ??
Little horse....
Happy Hunting ALL!
Paul
