Found hands full of clad, several wheats , Tilt Gold Mine tokens, giant lead sinker, 1963 runner medal, copper part of women's compact,s ome type of pill carrier copper tube with top, junk jewelry, a copper medallion "liberty 1916 with mercury head on it, string with turquoise on it and military buttons

A good assortment of targets. Did you say that 1916 is a mercury dime? Does it by chance have a "D" mintmark? If it does Don't clean it !!!!

Nice variety of finds! By the looks of all those display cases I think you prob have the experience and wisdom to know about 16d being major key date... but then I think we all learn something new everyday in this field!

The 1916 Merc is a medallion with a hole in it, most likely a copy of the 1916 D dime, It is thin copper with relief on one side and shows through reversed on the rear it is approx. 1 inch in diameter,,, Just a weird find
