Im looking for a hunting partner or 2 or 3 and so on in northern Illinois near dekalb Illinois minelab etrac a plus but it don't matter.I do not hunt under 48 degrees and I like to hunt properties and parks and even tot lots.I only got 11 silver coins last year but I only got my etrac in October so before that I had a v3i.i know some cool spots and have many ideas and I don't hunt other peoples spots that's just wrong,Unless the person is present or says no problem its all good.Send me a pm I will be starting hunting for my 2013 silver goal of 40 silver coins on march 1st if we go to southern Illinois maybe february 20th I truly believe the worlds warming up fast and spring is getting earlier and earlier....This is a good thing!

ya the pocket spill I got yesterday mark in our secret location was a tad lower than 2 inches about 4 inches you are correct it was soft for 2 inches and then deeper than 2 inches was solid hard frozen dirt,well give it time I have a feeling we are going to have a record early spring this year...
