Hey everyone, I found this at a new permission where everything is pre-1830. Anyone know what it is? Thanks!

Thanks everyone! The only reason I didn't think drawer pull was because its concave, and the wrong way for a cane tip. But maybe it was just bent to look concave. Thanks!

I vote escutcheon too. Not that I find a lot of mid-1800s items, but the escutcheons I have found on a few permissions in the way past had the concave look. All of the ones I found were very heavy too.
