Here are my finds from the last couple weeks. Mostly old parks but I did do some doorknocking here and there.

I went down to Ohio last weekend to do some deer hunting on my family's farm and also did some doorknocking and found these 4 silvers...

Then last night I revisited the Sled Hill House that I hit back in the Spring where I found a seated dime, 3 V niks, Silver buckle, Civil War token amongst other things and did well again last night. I found another Civil War Token! This one states "Army & Navy" on the back and is dated 1863. This is my 3rd one this year!

Here are a few relics I found too. The mangled item is a 60th anniversary medallion for Queen Victoria. Below it is a pic of what the medallion should look like.

Its been a pretty good couple of weeks for me and with the ground finally moist I hope to get out more and find some great treasure. I have a few guests venturing up my way next weekend so I am excited to share some spots and find some new ones.

Thanks for looking - Jared

:wow: Holy Crap, I need to come to Michigan and do some hunting. . LOL
Awesome finds:envious:
Now I really can't wait!!
See ya Saturday!!

Bucknut. WOW!! Hope you left some for us as we are looking forward to getting out with you next weekend! You made some awesome finds there. That medallion is pretty sweet. Too bad it's mangled. Makes me wonder who mangled it and why. :shocked04:

It almost looks like some one tried to hammer the edges like you would do to make it into a ring but then they got a little too feisty with it and it got trashed. who knows?

Hmm. Very interesting.
What's with the nickle shaped "coin" with the great big 5 on it? Token? Doesn't look like a shield nickle.

Dang Jared, you got lots of great finds! Too bad we didn't know you were so close to us in Ohio. We would have loved to join up with you. Is the 1909 cent a V.D.B.? Those 1937 buffalo nickels sure have been popular lately. Best wishes and HH, Dave.

It is a trade token. The other side states "In Trade". There is nothing else on it though which is kind of strange.

This one is just a plain one but it cleaned up pretty well so I included it in the pics.

I thought what Don typed...."holy crap!" Amazing amount of finds! I really wish I could find one CW token EVER! :envious: You find them like milk before a snow storm! Congrats!!

So many wonderful finds in one post!

I especially love the Dom's token and the 1874 Indian Head Cent!

But the Civil War token is the bomb! I've never found one. That is a terrific find! What a great piece of history.

:congrats:

Wow, lots of awesome finds! Love that CW and Doms token. Would love to try Michigan hunting some day, too bad its such a long drive around the big pond. Looks like youve got a lot more going on there than in Wis. Good luck on your upcoming hunts!

Congrats on a great bunch of finds. Great dig on the Civil War Token. those are tough finds. Lots of silver to boot. Congrats on all your finds WD
