Lots of old Nickels and some silver

Yesterday I spent the day with ScottyB at a spot where I found a Morgan Dollar and many other amazing old coins. I was hoping that the Equinox might have some success there. I was very successful especially in the nickel department with 3 V nickels (1889, 1898 and 1911). Also found a very nice 1881 indian that I hope I can remove the last bit of crud. Grabbed a couple silver dimes 1926 and 1946 and a crusty 1890 indian to complete my day.

These nickels were found last week during my lunch break.

Looks like you and the Equinox are becoming one. That 1881 IHP will look fantastic once the green crud is gone. Nice collection of nickles and silvers....:thumbsup02:

The coins come out of the ground looking great in your area! The 1911 V is sweet!
One of my earliest thoughts on the EQX was how it hit on nickels in air tests. I couldn't believe it!
Nice going!

Great going on those saves! Your ground is teally gentle on those nickles. Don't think I've ever seen them come out looking so well preserved, other than Tom's (Hiluxota) river finds.

Looks like that new machine is being very good to you!!
Congrats on a great hunt and all those coins!!!
They all seem to be in nice shape too!

Very nice, WTG. The Equinox is a nickel killer and loves the low conductors. I hit a spot that I’ve pounded and the Equinox pulled 8 Jefferson’s, 3 Buffalos and a war Nickel. It surprised the hell out of me.
