lowered lake aids in century dig of 181 coins

From the land of the Bluenose.....had not planned to go out for a dig but I guess the breakfast I made for Marie freed me up.......................had nothing to do with the 7 loads of laundry she had to do.

Went here and there and ended up back there ..........there was where a lowered lake was. Apparently the dam needed a good going over.

Man there sure was a lot of glass, iron and muck but this bouy did the dew.

Ended up with 181 coins.

And of course the mandatory cutlery, dinkies and keys as well as a Swiss army knife, musket ball and a buckle.

Of course this dig answered the million dollar question of where Air Canada flight 626 from Montreal ended up!

Tomorrow I see the specialist about the knee but for now , with Marie out it's Black Sabbath and Bud! <;)

Now that looks like a fun hunt! Amazing what the water has been hiding for awhile, congrats!

I was at a similar lake today but my first step went ankle deep in mud :( ...and slightly interesting is the fact that I dug my first few Canadian coins today <;) I wasn't thrilled though because I thought the penny was an IH or something, and I thought the quarter was silver as it looked silver and didn't have the clad edge that US quarters have. Oh well, I'm glad you had a nice outing and good luck with the knee. :waving:

Another huge clad count. :congrats: any chance of the water going lower? 7 loads of laundry....I'd go detecting to.
