went out today was having a boring day all i got was clad and 1 little pin of some type went to a another spot all i did was dig junk about a hour of that i figured i may as well go to my old park that i hunt all the time turns out it was a good thing i did the caretaker was mowing so i had to move over to a spot where i could hear i saw that he had just been there and had mowed all the flowers and the ferns down so i figure why not go over where they was what a lucky thing that i did right under the first set of plants i got a great signal 1243 1343 it was just screaming at me dug down about 6 inches it was still ther another inch or so i saw the first coin a baber dime then another i was so happy i didnt recheck the hole i covered it up and then went over it and still had a signal dug down and the signal was a little different it turns out to be a v nickel what a way to end a bad day dennis

Dennis, Great day for you finding three old coins from your old hunting ground. Somehow it keeps producing for you. I went out today for a couple hours and found all clad except a District of Columbia collector spoon. Big John

In the early spring or very late fall, I always swing over those kinds of areas. :yes: More than once it has paid off for me.

Two Barbers and a V in the same hole is very exciting. Holes like this don't come by very often.

Awesome dig, not lucky but smart. All in the same hole is fantastic. When the flowers are blooming we dont go hunt there but good for you finding out that the caretaker had just mowed them down. Whats that silver count at now?
