Lunch Hunts Silver & a Gun

Got the chance to hunt an old school in Dallas for a couple of hours. Also went to Palestine Tx for work and did a couple of lunch hunts. Pulled a really clean 1940 D Merc and my oldest V nickel yet 1901. The nick is very worn but the date is readable. Dug a few older wheaties and a 2000 Sac $1 coin. Looks like 3 of the wheats will go into my dug album. Got a dog tag from the city of Flower Mound. In Palestine I dug a cool old cap gun with the word Invincible on one side and Avenger on the other. I also dug a seal of Texas medal. The back says it was 14k plated, looks like the plate wore off long ago.

Congrats on the silver and your oldest V. Digging cap guns is always fun. Keep digging and looking forward to your next post.
