These forums are great. I'm new to metal detecting and just purchased a Excal. II for doing beaches. Want to make my own custom straight shaft and have located all the materials including the lock buttons for adjusting the shaft. What I can't locate however is the cam lock or something similar for locking the lower rod tight to the upper rod. Any ideas?
