Matron and a little silver ring

Met up with Drew(Charlives) for a short two and a half hour hunt. We started on a colonial road and ended up finding a nice little cellar hole. My first target was this nice 1835 Matron head LC. Next about ten feet away came a 1910 wheatie. As I worked the road a little I hit a little spill of 2 memorial pennies but a foot from that out popped another wheatie(1956). I also found 2 lantern tops(not shown) and 2 harmonica reeds also not shown. My final find of the day came to me as a little silver ring. Weather was awsome, nice and cool in the woods. There was also a cemetery close by but there were no headstones in it at all. I wonder if someone or some family had them removed to be relocated elsewhere. Thanks for looking HH

That top picture could be in a magazine! Yeah, I bet that cemetery has lots of metal in it. Weird that somebody is still cutting the grass there. :dontknow:
I can't wait to get back to that hole, this time I'll turn my detector on lol

Very nice LC and the ring looks good also. Sounds like the site has some great potential, looking forward to your future finds.

Love the first pic also! Big time congrats on the LC |:cheering:

So nice that you and Drew get together to hunt cellar holes thumbsup01 I love finding lantern and harmonica parts here in Kentucky- really takes you back to the day.
