Maybe this is where the saying came from!

I got out yesterday and today for a bit and went back to where I found my 1890 Indian Head penny on Saturday. I managed a 1930 Wheat penny yesterday and a 1920 Wheat penny today along with a really cool looking token from 1863 and an old looking metal toy soldier.

The token says, Time is money on the front with a man riding a horse and on the bottom the word Exigency. The back is still pretty crusty. What I can see is the number 50 with Williams, New York under it. Around the edge I can make out Hussey's Special Message Post. This token came from the same place I found the I. Jones Wood Hotel token also from 1863.

Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting! :groovy:

Awesome score on the token. <:
Looks like an 1863 Civil War token to me.

She's a nice one for your collection. :smitten:

Very nice token. As stated before, very good chance of it being a CWT. I am still on the lookout for one of those lead soldiers, maybe someday. Congrats on all your keepers
