Meager finds over dreary weekend

The weather was not too cooperative for detecting this weekend but I'm grateful for any kind of December hunting. I hit a few tot lots in the rain with nothing amazing to show for it. I also hunted the spot where my father and I scored 6 silvers last weekend but all I managed was 5 more wheats and a nice 1935 Buff. I think this is the nicest Buff I've ever dug - certainly the clearest date. Total for the weekend was 150 coins worth $10.74 including the wheats and Buff plus some neat buttons, some junk jewelry, and a 5 Kuna Croatian coin.

Hopefully there's still a few more weekends of hunting left. I need a few more bucks in clad to get to $400 for the year and I wouldn't mind a few more silvers or other nice keepers before hanging it up for the winter. We shall see!

That is a really nice buffalo nickel and I think there still a few days of nice weather in store for December so I imagine you'll hit your $400.00 mark. Good luck on more silver.
