Was reviewing my coin logs since getting back into the Hobby in 2012 and noticed I was at 199 Mercury dimes. Liking rounder numbers I hit the park I went to last Saturday with some unexpected results. At first signals were scarce but I moved to an area I thought was close to where I found a silver previously and got a nice (deep) 12-46. After digging down quite a bit a saw the silver disc and was sure I had number 200. Looking at the back I saw those gorgeous wreaths of the Barber coins. That was quite the bonus as I did not know the park was that old. The dime was a 14D with pretty decent detail. Finishing the hunt short to pick up my son I did hit the 200 mark with a total of 3 Merc's to boot. So far this surprise park has given up 6 silver in 2 hunts. Hope to hit the old Church woods this week for the first time this year but more than happy with these results if I don't. Wisconsin Digger.
