Misty mountain morning hunt

Didn't find anything real exciting YET... but thought I'd share these cool pics of foggy Kentucky morning. My buddy Dave and I went out yesterday to a spot that had an archaelogical dig over 5 yrs ago, where a brick kiln had been found. There was tape and fence and was very mysterious back then. Dave remembered where it was before they built the nearby 4 lane highway, curious what we might find. From these implements, definately some human action in the area, must've been house nearby. These things we did find (plus some pottery and harmonica pieces -not posted) motivates us to go back and try some more :)

Hope that place pans out for you two. If you are digging relics there are probably some coins to be found also. Worth a trip back for sure.

I've never hunted 'out in the middle of nowhere' like this... there's always been some sign of habitation, a shed or foundation, daffodils or something... I find it so amazing when people come out of the MIDDLE of the woods (like on a big group hunt) and they're holding a Barber or seated half lol

Yeah there's defiantly signs of life there  With all the work thats represented there, good chance you'll find something.
Good luck on your return trip thumbsup01

Out in the middle of nowhere... sounds awesome! thumbsup01

You definitely found some interesting items to make a repeat trip worth while.

Great pictures... I could definitely feel the dampness in the air and the solitude.

Let us know what you find when you revisit.
