Drew (oxshoedrew) and Mike (Mike54) met me at my house this morning. After we all said our hello's it was off to the golf course.

I have to say of the three of us Drew out hunted everyone. I'll let his post do the talking.

As for myself, some coins and a lot of buckles (6) and some misc items.

The coins were a 1920 merc, well worn and three wheaties, earliest being 1937.

I probably dug my largest buckle today and it had leather still attached. Got one ox knob, and some items that I have no idea of. The lock was actually dug by Mike and he generously offered to me. Thanks Mike.

Thanks for reading and HH everyone. First pic shows Mike on the left and Drew on the right.

Looks like a fun hunt to me Al! Lots of nice targets. I would like to know what that brass piece is (second from bottom).

What a fun day, Al!! Thanks again....I got home a bit ago. I think that guard is a snaffle bit part. You were busy!! So was Mike...he dug tons of coins! We'll have to do it again. I'll post up after I eat :)

Nice group of finds! Lots of buckles, looks like one of my old farm field digs. Was the golf course an old farm?

Nice hunt you guys, and you were definitely the buckle king Al! I thought it was a horse bridle bit as well initially, and Drew's post confirms it.

John

Some of those finds look pretty old Al no doubt the golf course was an old farm field at one time
