More Huntin' in the Woods

Ill Digger

We got permission to hunt a new piece of property earlier in the year. But the dang skeeters >:# were so bad we decided to wait till.....well....wait till now lol When the bugs are gone and the undergrowth is dying off. From what we were told this place use to be a large gathering place from the mid 1800's till the 1920's when it was privately bought. I've been told it's been hit before but we decided to give it a go anyway :dontknow: With in the first 20 minutes I had my first coin and it was silver!! A 1924 Merc!! :happydance01: In total I pulled 4 silver dimes 2 Barbers a 1910 and a 1914 and two Mercs 1920 and 24. I also found two old nickles! A no date buff and a 1900 V nickle! Plus I also found one of my favorite things to find while metal detecting............a trade token!! <:
Here's a look at the only coins I dug all day! :shocked01: |)
Before cleaning
