Multiple hunts, first dated SLQ, huge silver find!

Hi all,
Had Monday off for 12 hours of hunting so took full advantage of that to hit 2 lakes/beaches, another beach, and a big park.
The beaches and waters were unexpectedly bare, just some change, a hair clip and toy cars including one old tootsie toy. One first was a cell phone about a foot deep in the sand!

In between scheduled stops I revisited the old cemetary next to where I grew up. Dating a few of the readable stones I saw dates that were pre civil war. That got me to try detecting around the outer premier out of curiosity, but only found the typical rifle cases, shotgun brass, and au unfired .50 cal round.

Last stop was the big park overlooking Lake Michigan. I've hunted it several times before with only 1 rosie keeper. But this time I tried using the 17 inch coil, and it really paid off! On top of 9 later wheaties, I got a 1953S rosie and my first dated SLQ, a 1930S!

The gest was yet to come. I got a varying 12-38 to 12-44 signal which yielded a huge silver and rhinestone winged cross with a hinged magnetic clip on back. No hallmarks, but it looks like a craft piece. It likely rang up a bit lower than solid silver because of the magnet and steel in it.

A dated SLQ is a great find...congrats.
That silver pin is fantastic. Have you tested it for silver ?

I dont have a silver test kit, but I did file a small notch on the inside of the piece, in a hollow section. No plating, not magnetic, high VDI on the machine, so most likely silver.
