Don and I got together today for a beautiful fall hunt at a spot we hunted a couple of years ago. The last time we hunted here he got a nice fatty indian and I got 3 V nickels, but no silver. Today we both had a good day. Don got the first silver of the day with a really nice 1917 Merc. He also got a nice indian and several wheats. My first target was a 1919 Merc and soon followed by several wheats and a really nice 1907 Barber dime. I also found a 1907 indian head penny in the same hole as a pocket watch. We hunted there for a couple of hours and moved on to a park that was nearby where I picked up my 1952 Rosie to complete my first trifecta! The first place we hunted was a park that existed at the turn of the century and nothing remains there but a few posts where a picnic pavillion sat. The views from up there are awesome...the hike up the hill is not so awesome! Here are the pics!
