My silvers and a trip to Ohio

Here are the last couple weeks worth of finds for me. The Canadian LC is the 8th of the year...I had never found one before this year and now I have 8 of them. Kinda weird how things come in bunches.

Last weekend I went down to my family's farm in Ohio. I went to set up my tree stands for the deer hunting season and of course I took my detector and went to a couple places and did a little door knocking. The ground was the driest I have seen in a long time here but I managed 1 very nice silver...1918 mercury dime.

The other 3 mercs in the pic are from last night at a city owned lot I hit. It is always satisfying to come home with multiple silvers!

Thanks for looking!

Congrats on the Canuck LC and the Mercs! Looks like they kept their pennies large a lot longer than we did.

Yeah Canada had large pennies until the 1920's I think. Even though they are big they ring up as a wheat penny or even lower....12-39 to 12-41 on my Etrac.

Still looking for my 1st Canadian LC, :congrats:on your 8th. Getting multiple silvers always puts a smile on my face.

It really is weird how things come... I found so much Canadian stuff this year, including my one and only large cent. Yours looks in great shape, how's the other side? :clapping:

Its in nice shape on the front as well...just did not take a pic. Maybe I'll take a pic of both sides of them all in my year end wrap up.

Nice looking coins! Congrats on the Canadian LC. So far my only Canadian coins have been pennies but I still like finding them
