My Trip To The Dream Stream

I got a opportunity to hunt the famous "Dream Stream" a couple of times this week after work. Last year Tom "Hiluxyota" did some research and found a virgin swimming hole! Tom alone found over 30 gold rings, plus lots of silver coins and jewlery as well! Turns out a couple of people found out the location and word spread like wild fire! So Tom told me to go get some before the looters did.

First gold from the water this year!
1930 class ring.

A short while later gold #2 FTY.
Another class ring from Iowa?

Great hunt, congrats on the gold! Hoping to get out there myself with Tom sometime soon. Too bad the looters take half the fun out of it and really restrict the ability to share the finds and great videos.

Congrats! Nice to have a friend that's willing to give you the hot tip on that place! That is one of the problems with You Tube as you have to be VERY careful not to given ANY hints as to where you are hunting otherwise it will be overrun with other detectorists fast.
