Mystery Brass Find!

Was able to get out today and do some detecting after my 3 month wait!:bangahead02: Thankfully now the snow is melting and I can see lots of grass!!!:yahoo: Anyways I found a few things but this one questioned me the most, I had one suggestion from a friend of mine that said it was a horse leather adjustment. That would be my guess too but whatever it is I really like

I would also guess that is a horse tack buckle. I love the green patina!

I agree with Tony , its curved appearance suggests it was associated with wooden harness "tree" or yolk from a draft or work animals.
