New camera photo and photography info.

Here is a photo taken with my new camera, the Canon Power Shot A4000 IS. This is not ideal lighting conditions just a quick example. After Santa delivers my new studio set-up Ill post a couple more photos.

Looks like it's doing a fine job of getting the close up pictures. I hope you destroyed that coin after the picture was taken. I would hate to waste my time digging that up in the future! >:/ I mean what would be left of it after a couple years in the ground. :yes:
My problem is that the camera blocks part of the light and the bottom of the coin is darker. I tried with a tripod and that was a little better but too much work. :thumbsdown:

Very Good Pictures--I have a good general camara but would like to take some closeups//
I see used Cannon Power shots AE 1000, 3000,300HS,etc at small money any of these do a reasonable job on closups ?? Perry
