New field

These are finds from this past weekend. Mike and I got permission to hunt another farm field this weekend:yahoo: The owners of the property are super cool and told us we can come back anytime. We spent 2 hours there yesterday and 3 hours this morning. We must have approximately 10,000 acres of new land to go over.
Yesterday when we stopped in, the owner told us about the chickens excavating the chicken coup. He showed us an arrowhead that the chickens unearthed! The barber is a 1911 that I found in the front yard that I gave to the owner. Between Mike and I the past 2 days, we dug 4 Large cents, 5 silver dimes, a 1/2 reale and countless buttons and wheat pennies. Made a couple of cool new friends too. :yes:

Nice areas to hunt :clapping: You will be busy for a long time. Great looking coins and a stone point is a big bonus!!! I know this is too far south for your point but it looks similar to this point found in Florida from the Woodlands Period. Made from black chert.

Wow, I think you will have many more successful hunts at this site! Man, I would give anything to be able to find four large cents in one weekend! If there was a half real found then there are definitely some oldies there!
