Good morning all! New to this site however I've been detecting since 2003 at which point we (we being my wife and I) met a man named Monte Berry who many of you know I'm sure. Since then with the help of Monte's lessons, which I've listened to off and on, we have found many good items and been to some outstanding western US states.
Hope to get to know some of you folks here at The AD. Certainly hope to meet anybody here from Oregon.

ps. attached is my latest decent find. From the same location I retrieved 2 Indian heads and a 60's Shell gas token and several wheats dating to the teens.

Currently I'm using an Explorer II and a modified IDX pro. We have several detectors between the wife and i but those are the ones i choose to use. For all the goodies in the yard i mentioned above the x2 with an SEF 10x12 were being used

And sorry for the large pictures. I now know that they need to be sized down

I'm in Forest Grove. We make it to the Columbia Gorge area a couple times of year be spend most of our vacation/detecting time in eastern Oregon/Nevada/Utah.
