New site, short hunt, Silver!!

Fire Fighter 43

checked out the potential of a new site for about 2 hours today with my 4 year old son and it looks real promising. My first hit was a 1920 wheat at 5.5 inches. I also found an 18, 35, and 37 wheat along with 2 mercs 26 & 29. This is an old church with alot of open area I only hunted an area of about 50 x 50 around an old ball feild back stop. The nice thing is everything was down more than 5 inches and I only found one modern coin a 72 Lincoln and it was 5 inches down. I will be returning for a full day hunt on Friday.

That is an great video Fire Fighter! Looks like the V3 is doing the job for you. Your digs look very familiar. I use a garret now for pinpointing, and I saw your dig cloth go down. Very nice plugs you are digging. This is a fine example for other detectorist on how to dig without doing damage. Thank you so much for taking the time to shoot this video. Congratulations on the nice silver, and don't it feel great to dig those Wheats!

thumbsup01 Another cool video Jeff!
You should do very good at that site!
Can't wait till Friday to see what else the place gives up for ya
Congrats

Looks like a great place to hunt! Even if someone was there before, they left 2 silvers and a bunch of wheats. That means there will be a lot more there. Can't wait to see a full hunt. Nice digs!!
