Got the Large Cent in the first 5 minutes there. Thought it would be a day of old coins... Not the case. Deep clad for the next hour. :dontknow: Still had fun, It was a beautiful day out. Enjoy the weekend folks!

Congrats on the copper :clapping: it will be hard to get a date off of it, but you may get one. I've had days just like that lol Copper right off the bat and then nothing :ticked: I just can't figure out why that happens. It was a great day to go detecting!!

Nice old copper! It does look like you may be able to read the date after a light cleaning.
