New to forum and detecting

Hello to all! I`m new to the hobby. I purchased my first detector about a week ago. I found my first coin a 1902 barber dime a couple days a go in my yard.:) I can really see how this can be addicting.

That 1902 Barber Dime must have been a really exciting first find for you! That's terrific! What kind of detector do you have?

This hobby is addicting for sure. :yes: There are so many coins and relics out there just waiting to be found.

I have a whites spectrum XLT and I just purchased a TRX pinpointer. I live in west central , Wisconsin.

Welcome to the forum and to the hobby! Your first coin was a 1902 barber dime, wow, that is amazing beginner's luck. That would knock about 3 items off most people's bucket list! A barber, a silver, and a coin over 100 years old!
