Hey all, thought I would stop in and visit. I'am from SE Ohio. My granddad got me into detecting back in the mid 1980's. I currently use a F75 and an Etrac. Best find thru the years is a CW dog tag found at an old stage coach station.

hello Docbars and welcome to the forum , the soldier tag would be a great center piece to add in anyones collection . i hope it was in very nice shape , would love to take a gander at that historic piece sometime . glad you found us .

Welcome, docbars! Glad you found us here on American Detectorist! It sounds like you have a couple of greta machines there. I sure so love my E-Trac! I had a Fisher 1260-X back in the late 1980s.

There should be lots of great sites to hunt there in southeast Ohio! I'm jealous of all the old coins that can be found in that part of the country.
