I just wanted to say hi to all and to see how this site works. I use a Whites V3i, I just purchased it about 2 weeks ago. I used to use a DFX. I live in Amarillo Texas.

Steve, welcome from western MA. I also use a V3i, had it since March, I think. It's a great machine and I've gotten some great items with it. My hunting partner uses the Etrac so every hunt is a competition. Looking forward to your posts and glad you are here.

Welcome from SE Wisconsin. :clapping: You found a great site. Texas is a great state for detecting. My season is over. Up in the panhandle you should be able to hunt almost all year. Looking forward to your finds, good luck. thumbsup01
 
hello Texas-Steve , welcome to the forum . both machines a very good ones and going from a dfx to the v3i shouldn't be to bad of a transition either. what type of detecting or places do you enjoy out there in the great state of Texas?? hope to see some productive finds from you soon and glad you could join us here .

You've got yourself one heck of a machine there. Finding some great items should be no problem
as you move forward.

I did a quick spell in Plano, boy how I wish I would have been into metal detecting back then. :yes:
