Newbie find his first Wheatie.

As I am still fairly new to detecting I have been doing totlots to learn about my ACE 250, but today I ventured to a vacant lot in an older section of the city. Withing a few minutes I found this:

Thinking if I found this penny, just maybe there are older coins (silver) to be had. Searched for about another hour but came up empty handed. I still am pretty happy to find this Wheatie though.

I would definitely hit that area again. If there are wheat cents there, there definitely is the potential for silver |:cheering:

Like the other have said...where you find wheaties alotta times there's a silver or two near-by ;) :yes:

WTG on getting a very nice old wheat. I remember that it took over 200 linclolns before I found my 1st wheat. I would hit that lot again.

You are right about the wheatie being an indicator of silver, etc. Keep after it.
