Nice coin today!

I decided to go to my cousins house today. It's a bit muddy, so I didn't want to go to fresh sites of people I don't know...too messy right now. I've hunted his house 4 other times, but this was the first time with the E-trac. I brought my handy list of Fe-Co #'s and that really helped. I only hunted for about an hour and spent most of my time visiting with him rather than detecting. I got two more wheat pennies today...oldest being a 1911. And just before I left I got a nice deep signal. At 7 I got this nice 1888 Indian Head. It cleaned up really nice!

Hey, that's a keeper! thumbsup01 Very nice, BC. Glad to see that you are enjoying using the E-Trac.

Hmmmm. seems like someone is getting too good with the E Trac too fast lol Pretty soon detectorists around you will stop talking to you rofl I hoped you would click with your new machine, and I think you have. That's twice that you hunted over sites you hit before and found good stuff. You now have all of your old sites to do again. Congrats on that Indian. It's an older one and in great shape. thumbsup01

Yeah, it's nice to be able to go back to all the spots that I've hunted before. I'm hoping to put the tweeks to it and get it a bit deeper. right now it is giving me about 8 in the factory coin mode. My cousin's yard has very dark rich dirt. I've pulled several wheats from his yard and one mercury dime last year. His house was built in 1910.

Ha... far from being one with it. I am beginning to agree with it though.. I like the way it feels. It's a pretty neat machine and I can definately see the potential of it. One day at a time...

Talk about starting out with a bang! Beef you are going to have a blast with the new E-Trac. I am crunching numbers as I speak. Can't wait to get my hands on the ET. Congratulations on a beautiful coin. That Indian is in nice shape as well.
