Nice evening in the local park.

Today was raining on and off so the wife and I stayed close to home and hit the local park in between showers. It may be true that wet ground gives more finds. In the past, I have found only clad and a half dozen wheaties in this particular park. Today, the wife and I found 3 wheaties and I found a silver quarter and 2 silver rings!

Pics of our finds. The large dirty coin on the lower left is a modern dollar coin.

Nice work , you guys are a great team . I see you have a Golden Sabre 2 . I had one for many years
and it paid for itself and every detector I've had since in finds . Got a lot of gold jewelry with it . Ended up selling it a few years back but recently got a great deal on another one .

Yep, rain is your friend lol I actually don't like it when the grass is still wet. I prefer to hunt after a few days of soaking rain and enough time for the surface rain to evaporate. There is less falsing then. You diid really well, since that place has not produced silver on previous occasions. Glad you mentioned the large disc is a dollar. I would have thought Large Cent lol Nice teamwork!
