Nice Little Hunt

Ill Digger

I gotta chance to get out for a few hours today. I went back to the park that has given up my last 3 or 4 silvers. Today I was able to find a very worn or  flattened 1910 wheatie lol Also found a 1896 IH <: This park has been pretty generous with keepers at quitting time. |) Today was another nice surprise, Just steps away from the truck I gotta weak 11-40, 12-41, (only a single beep in each direction) at about 4 inches and I said to myself It could be a wheatie? Either way, last hole. So I dug down to about the 4 inch mark and stuck the PP in the hole and while swirling it around in the hole I seen SILVER!! :shocked04: :happydance01: Out pops a 1917 Merc! :happydance01: True to form after sticking my new found treasure in my pocket, I reached over and powered down and headed for home! :beerbuddy:

That is a great few hour hunt Tim. You have been doing very well at that park.
A Merc, IH and early wheat would have me smiling all the way home.
It is a sweet sight seeing the first glimpse of silver in the hole. :smitten:
Definitely some early dates on all of your coins here.
Congrats friend.

Great short hunt. 3 keepers and they are all in a nice old age catagory :peace: You know what that means? There are more of them

You need to get right back there Tim. lol Those are some nice old coins. I bet you will pick up some more from there too.

Nice little hunt indeed! I love it when those green cents come out of the hole, that means they're old.

Very nice looking Merc too! Gotta love it when silver appears in the hole!

Congrats on the super hunt! :clapping:
