Nine Silver Coins + Other Keepers

This sure was one lovely day, sunny and with a cool breeze. It made for a pleasant time at the park. The finds weren't bad either.

I scored with nine silver coins, four Indian Head cents, a good amount of wheat cents, two old nickels, and two religious pendants.

This 1895-O Barber quarter was a very nice surprise.

There is a 1936-S mercury dime in the clod of soil.

And a Barber dime is in this one.

The dimes are dated 1905-S, 1918-D, 1936-S, 1939, 1940, 1942, 1943, and 1946.

These Indian Head cents aren't in bad shape, though the 1907 one almost lost its head.

The wartime nickel is dated 1945. The V nickel is 1911.

There are 30 wheat cents in the pile.

It's been a while since I have found a skeleton key. I was glad to see this one intact.

Nice DIGS AGAIN!! You must be single with no kids to be out as much as you are. I'm lucky to get out for 5-6 hours a week, between work, house, a wife and two small kids its hard.

Very nice Angel. The key is great. That is another nice big pile of old coins. I hope your digging arm holds out!

Very nice, very nice INDEED! You got one injun though that almost got scalped. Well done my friend. :thumbsup01:

Good job, ur killin' it with the goods; day after day. I gotta catch up with you someday. Maybe if u ever hunt w/i an hour of my home in the catskills. Please let us know if u ever travel to northwestern CT. or Ma.

That's one thing I haven't done too much of, travelin' to a variety of parks. I generally hit the same old parks lookin' for what others left behind. I would love to find some virgin territory.

Hey Aaron, I would love to get together with you and Scott to do some detecting out that way. Just let me know when you guys are available, and I'll make the trip out there. This week would be good for me so long as it isn't raining. We can scope out some sites ahead of time for us to hit. Just let me know. :)

KK. what do I need to do on my end to begin the search for a suitable location?

I'm not really sure where you are located, but I too can search for sites where much travel for you or Scott would not be required. :) I believe there would be several parks in the NY/CT border we can check out. I'll see about gathering a list of such later this evening.

:twirlingeyes:Getting dizzy looking at all the loot Angel!! Do you own a vault? If so, it better be a BIG one!! :poke:
