Not many targets but two 1st's for me on Sunday

I see that Dave mentioned the ruff day he had as it progressively got worse for him through out the day. I couldn't help but feel bad for him as it ended with another bee assault on Mr. Wise :blackeye: Dave, this probably doesn't seem appropriate but, I just wish that I could get a live video of you one time when your being attacked by those little demons. I would swear that you are being mauled by a pack of wolves as you scream bloody murder at the top of your lungs. Flailing your arms, high stepping like a little girl it is truly an amazing scene. :hysterical: >8)

Anyway, it was indeed a soggy hunt for us at some gorgeous sites. These sites were something to behold and unfortunately someone beat us to the punch as these sites were absolutely hammered. We never let that discourage us however and I was able to squeak out a few keepers including two 1st's for me. a 1876 Seated Quarter and my 1st Fugio Copper. I have found plenty of seated dimes but never a quaker . The Fugio is in very ruff shape but identifiable and nice to finally check one off the bucket list :bananadance:

One other neat find is some sort of brass lid that still operates. Not sure what it is but it resembles something like a salt shaker top :dontknow:

I gotta hunt with you two lol If you can't record Dave's dance, then I got to have a front row seat :hysterical: Congrats on your Seated Quarter :clapping: I felt the same way about having the dimes, and even a half, but NO quarter :dontknow: The Fugio is not that bad...definitely recognizable. Congrats on getting 2 from your bucket list :beerbuddy:

Wow, look at the detail on that seated quarter! :shocked04: :loveit:

That is an amazing coin! |)

Congrats on your first Fugio too, Todd! |:cheering:

Man, what an awesome hunt!

:perfect10:

still has mint luster on the qtr sweet! i walked 2 feet from that log it was under :crying02: glad to see you knock those off your list and hey BTW them suckers hurt when they drive their abdomens into your flesh when you least expect it.I go into panic mode  :shocked04:verreaction: oh well better luck next time.whites is special equipping my detector shaft with a soothing bee calming smoke chamber with a release mechanism when the detector hits the ground in the case of an attack.kinda like the same method a air bag works in your car.
awesome drenched hunt Todd! :perfect10:

:omg: wow that quarter is georgous Todd :perfect10: :perfect10: its like getting paid to see Dave tortured by enraged insects lol rofl rofl where do i sign up lol lol Dave honestly we kid because your ok buddy :poke: :poke: congrats on the seated and your first fugio :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

Man that is a beautiful Seated for sure, nice stuff. Could that lid type thing be part of a tea ball?

Very nice finds Todd! Dave & you are having a great season, except for the bees.
yeah , Roger were tearing it up this year. Good to see you on board here.

Thanks Todd.

Dave had mentioned that you post over here & I wanted to see what you were finding as well. Some great finds.

Man, I gotta tell you that you guys have really ticked the bees off this year. I hate those things.

Fantastic looking coin!! I found a 1838 dime, ( my first silver coin) and I'm ready for a quarter or maybe a half? Congrats on a beautiful coin! :clapping:
