Oh the pain

don in ny

Got out for the first time of the season. Headed south towards a NYC park as it's still frozen up here. Spent about 5 1/2 hours detecting. Oh the pain. My legs are killing me today. Didn't find much of anything good, but I did pull a couple of silvers and a lot of coins. Just felt good to be out swinging the machine and digging some coins.

 I know what you mean. After not detecting all winter I could really feel it the next day.

Two silvers is better than no silvers, and it looks like you got several wheat cents too.

Getting out for that first hunt after a long winter = heaven! :clapping:

 Tony, I loved that show! I'm glad you got out Don. You metal detect in NYC!? That must be interesting! I can't imagine the layers of stuff in that dirt. Rest up....you'll be in the swing of things before you know it.

I feel your pain Don! By the 4th hour of my hunt Sunday my legs, neck, back, and stomach were all reminding me of how long its been since I detected last!

But a couple of silvers makes it not hurt so bad! ;)
At least we're getting out.
Congrats

It'll only get better from here on out.:thumbsup01:

Yeah Don , I'm very envious of you getting most of us here in Ct. are itching to do so .

Bring on the pain!!!!

Congrats on getting out and scoring some silvers. After reading all the replies and how everyone is in pain I think I'll start doing some stretching right now.

Congrats on the pile of Loot! Great silvers too! :thumbsup02:

Yep, the pain doesn't ease up the older you get....:shocked04:
